A Day at the Texas Shooting Range: Precision, Passion, and a Bit of Adventure

Today, I had the thrilling opportunity to visit a Texas shooting range, courtesy of my colleague and manager, Jonathan. A true enthusiast of firearms and hunting. We had made this plan a while ago, and after a hectic work week, it was finally time to put our plan into action. Jonathan had prepped his gear over the weekend, and we chose Monday evening for our outing, hoping to avoid the weekend rush. As we arrived at the range, Jonathan opened his trunk, revealing an impressive array of firearms. He asked me to help carry the smaller of the heavy cases. When we placed them on the table, I was astounded by his collection—everything from sleek handguns to a hunter rifle, spanning from 25 meters to 200 meters in range. We donned our shooting glasses and sound-cancelling headphones before diving into our practice. Starting with the 9mm handguns at the 25-meter range, I had the chance to test out four different models. Among them was a German-made handgun with a particularly fierce recoil. D...

Cheers to friendship and community, near and far!

It all started a few years ago when we became neighbors at Equilife Homes. What began as simple smiles and occasional hellos grew into sharing meals and supporting each other through the ups and downs of raising kids. Our daily interactions became a comforting routine. Life took Shrikant & Nitin both to the USA, and with busy schedules and different time zones, we couldn't stay in touch as often as we wanted. But recently, we had the chance to reconnect. It was a day filled with laughter, memories, and a reminder of the special bond we share. Business travel is demanding, with its tight schedules and endless meetings, but this reunion was a breath of fresh ...

Love letter

My Dearest Ammu, I hope this letter finds you and our precious daughter well. As I prepare to leave for my work abroad, I find myself thinking deeply about your question: why I don't cry when saying goodbye. It's a question that touches the core of my heart, and I want to share my feelings with you as openly and honestly as I can. Leaving you both is one of the hardest things I do. Every moment away from you is filled with longing and love. But when it comes time to say goodbye, I hold back my tears not because I don't feel the pain of parting, but because I want to stay strong for our family. I want you to see that my resolve is steadfast, that my love for you and our daughter is the driving force behind every decision I make. Visiting abroad is a sacrifice I choose to make for our daughter's future. It's for the opportunities we want her to have, the dreams we want her to pursue without hesitation. The money I earn during these trips will help us build a secure, c...
